Braille Quran Workshop and 3rd Ordinary General Assembly Held in Ümraniye (October 2022)

At the workshop and 3rd Ordinary General Assembly held in Ümraniye on 15–17 October 2022, the Union's new leadership was elected; Halis Kuralay became Chairman of the Board.
The Braille Quran Workshop and 3rd Ordinary General Assembly of the International Union of Braille Quran Services were held in Ümraniye, Istanbul, on 15–17 October 2022.
The workshop addressed current needs in Braille Quran training, printing and distribution, as well as opportunities for cooperation among member organizations. The General Assembly reviewed the activities carried out since 2017 and elected the governing bodies for the new term. Following Founding President Dr. Selahattin Aydın, Halis Kuralay was elected Chairman of the Board.
In this term the Union expanded its work with the Kazakhstan workshop, Braille Quran shipments to Africa and the first Braille Quran course abroad, in Uganda.

The 2nd Ordinary General Assembly, held in Istanbul on 24–27 July 2017, brought together 50 representatives from 18 countries; a panel on disability in the light of the Holy Quran was held.

Preparing the Foundation: Statute Meeting in Beylikdüzü (August 2013)
In August 2013 the delegates of the February conference met again in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, to draft the Union's statute and prepare the documents required for the establishment application.
