Visit to the Center for Islamic Studies (ISAM)
A Union delegation visited Dr. Tuncay Başoğlu, Deputy Director of ISAM, to present the Union's Braille Quran services and discuss academic cooperation.
A delegation of the International Union of Braille Quran Services visited Dr. Tuncay Başoğlu, Deputy Director of the Center for Islamic Studies (ISAM). During the meeting, information about the Union's Braille Quran services was shared and possible areas of academic cooperation were discussed.

Our Work in Africa Deepens: Visit to Gambia
IBQS President Halis Kuralay was in Banjul, the capital of Gambia, on 17–24 January 2026. He attended a meeting of foundations providing religious services in 25 African countries, presented Braille Qurans and Elif primers to the GOVI school for the blind, and guided the founding of a Gambian association to join the Union.

On 4–11 September 2025 IBQS President Halis Kuralay met organizations such as Islamic Relief, the British Columbia Muslim Association and the Muslim Association of Canada in Vancouver, met student groups at the University of British Columbia and gave an interview to the Al-Ameen newspaper.
