Visit to Esenler Mayor Tevfik Göksu
Our President Halis Kuralay, together with members Seyit Ahmet Olgun and Azimet Zıba, visited Esenler Mayor Tevfik Göksu and requested support for the 2025 general assembly and panel program.
Halis Kuralay, President of the International Union of Braille Quran Services, together with Union members Seyit Ahmet Olgun and Azimet Zıba, visited Esenler Mayor Tevfik Göksu.
During the visit, information was shared about the founding purpose of the Union, its activities and Braille Quran education in Türkiye. Support was also requested for the general assembly and panel program planned for 2025. The meeting concluded with mutual good wishes.

Our Work in Africa Deepens: Visit to Gambia
IBQS President Halis Kuralay was in Banjul, the capital of Gambia, on 17–24 January 2026. He attended a meeting of foundations providing religious services in 25 African countries, presented Braille Qurans and Elif primers to the GOVI school for the blind, and guided the founding of a Gambian association to join the Union.

On 4–11 September 2025 IBQS President Halis Kuralay met organizations such as Islamic Relief, the British Columbia Muslim Association and the Muslim Association of Canada in Vancouver, met student groups at the University of British Columbia and gave an interview to the Al-Ameen newspaper.
