Workshop Held with the Kazakhstan Muslim Religious Administration

The workshop "Civil Society Cooperation and Beneficiary Views in Developing Religious Services for the Visually Impaired" was held in Istanbul on 25–26 December 2023.

As the International Union of Braille Quran Services, we successfully held the workshop "Civil Society Cooperation and Beneficiary Views in Developing Religious Services for the Visually Impaired" in Istanbul on 25–26 December 2023, in cooperation with the Muslim Religious Administration of Kazakhstan.

The opening program of the workshop, organized to develop religious services for persons with disabilities, was hosted by the Istanbul Visually Impaired Rehabilitation Center on Monday 25 December. With expert participants, the program comprehensively addressed the importance of cooperation among civil society organizations, current practices and the views of beneficiaries.

We believe that this event, held within the framework of international cooperation, makes an important contribution to improving the access of persons with disabilities to religious services. We thank all stakeholders who contributed to the workshop and continue our work in this field with determination.
