Braille Quran Support for Visually Impaired Quran Students in Burkina Faso
In October 2024, 8 Braille Qurans and 10 slates and styluses were sent to visually impaired Quran students in Burkina Faso; the students sent their thanks in photos and videos.
In October 2024 our Union sent 8 Braille Qurans and 10 braille slates and styluses to visually impaired Quran students in Burkina Faso.
The Qurans and learning materials were delivered to the teachers who provide Quran education to visually impaired students in the region. The students and their teachers conveyed their joy and gratitude to our Union through photos and videos.
Access to the Braille Quran in West Africa is extremely limited; this shipment to Burkina Faso was the first link in our Union's Quran and learning-material support for Africa in the 2024–2025 period.

Prompted by a request from Alusine Jallow, a 27-year-old visually impaired man who wrote to our Facebook page, 25 Braille Qurans and Elif booklets were delivered with IHH's support to a group of 17 people in Sierra Leone who wanted to learn the Braille Quran.
