Conference and Quran Recitation at the Astec Book Fair in Duisburg
At the Astec Book Fair in Duisburg, Germany, on 31 December 2016, our President Selahattin Aydın gave a lecture titled "Rethinking Disability in the Light of the Quran and Sunnah".
On Saturday 31 December 2016, the International Union of Braille Quran Services (IBQS) held a meaningful program at the Astec Book Fair in Duisburg, Germany.
The lecture "Rethinking Disability in the Light of the Quran and Sunnah", delivered by our President Selahattin Aydın, was followed with great interest by the participants. As part of the program, our visually impaired hafizes Adem Yılmaz and Ertuğrul Yılmaz recited from the Quran.
During the fair, Mustafa Yeneroğlu, AK Party Member of Parliament for Istanbul, and Abdülkadir Bağcı, Vice President of the Umut Yıldızı Association, visited our stand and learned about our Union and its activities.
We were pleased to take our place at the Astec Book Fair with our lecture, Quran recitation and visits.
